Agreement to These Terms

Welcome to Glassio. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Glassio desktop application ("the App") and the Glassio website at glassioapp.com ("the Site"), collectively referred to as the "Service."

By downloading, installing, or using Glassio in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.

Permitted Use

Glassio is a professional Mac desktop application for inventory management, CSV workflows, and business operations. You may use the App for lawful business or personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

To use Glassio, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent
• Have a compatible Mac running macOS 15 Sequoia or later
• Download the App through the official Mac App Store
• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws

Your Responsibilities

As a user of Glassio, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Mac device and any credentials used to access it
• Ensuring the accuracy of data you enter, import, or manage within the App
• Backing up your local data regularly using macOS Time Machine or another backup method
• Using the App in a manner that does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights
• Any consequences resulting from the loss, corruption, or misuse of your locally stored data

Because Glassio stores all data locally on your device, you assume full responsibility for the management, backup, and security of that data.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Glassio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on Mac devices that you own or control
• Use the App solely for your personal or internal business purposes
• Access and use the Site for informational purposes

This license does not include any right to sublicense, resell, or distribute the App or its components. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Glassio.

The App is licensed, not sold. Your purchase or free download grants you the right to use the App under these Terms, not ownership of the software itself.

What You May Not Do

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App or Site
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or branding within the App
• Use the App to develop competing products or services
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the App to any third party
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks associated with Glassio
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the Site

Your Data, Your Responsibility

Glassio is a local-first application. All inventory records, CSV data, product entries, and operational information you create or import are stored exclusively on your local device.

• Glassio does not back up, sync, or transmit your app data to any external server
• You are solely responsible for the backup, integrity, and security of your local data
• Glassio is not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, accidental deletion, software errors, or any other cause
• It is strongly recommended that you maintain regular backups using macOS Time Machine or an equivalent solution

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Glassio App and Site are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Glassio disclaims all warranties including, but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Any warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
• Any warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content within the App or Site

You use Glassio at your own risk. We do not warrant that the App will meet your specific requirements or that any defects will be corrected in a particular timeframe.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glassio and its developers, officers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill
• Damages arising from your reliance on the App for business-critical decisions
• Data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to your local device or files
• Interruptions or errors in the App's functionality

In jurisdictions where limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages is not permitted, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law.

Changes to the App and Terms

Glassio reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App or any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. This includes changes to features, pricing, and availability.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:

• The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised
• Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms
• If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.

Termination of Use

Your right to use Glassio may be terminated in the following circumstances:

• By you — You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. No formal cancellation is required unless you have an active subscription.
• By us — Glassio reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the App in an unlawful manner.
• App Store — Apple may also terminate your access to the App in accordance with the Mac App Store terms and conditions.

Upon termination, your license to use the App immediately ends. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability, disclaimers, and contact provisions) will continue to apply.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of Glassio shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be handled through the appropriate legal channels in the applicable jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
